Location: Travelling between sites throughout Yorkshire - mainly Leeds & York

37 Hours per week, (8:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday).

Must have driving license and use of own car (business insurance), we will pay mileage.

Knowledge:

Carrying out fire alarms check, smoke vent checks, legionella checks

Site safety checks

Skills:

Responsibilities:

Carry out inspections of blocks within our communal shared areas. Identify and resolve problems to ensure that health & safety legislation and local requirements are met.

Carry out weekly, 4 weekly, 6 monthly and 12 monthly safety checks including but not limited to testing fire alarms, smoke vents, emergency lights and legionella and ensuring all corridors are clear from fire risks.

Responsible for ensuring that health & safety inspections and checks are carried out on our Estates and communal areas (block inspections) using a handheld device as designated and reporting repairs to the relevant teams.
