Creative Interaction Designer - 39972 - £56.09/hr umbrella rate

A Creative Interaction Designer is required to work on a fast-paced project producing a creative vision for a new automotive HMI system.

What You Will Do:

• Work collaboratively as part of a small creative team to produce concept visualisations (UI) that define the digital creative direction for an innovative vehicle concept.
• Utilise Figma to create components and layouts for further development of screens, states, and features in the HMI system.
• Develop guidelines and animations in After Effects, integrating 2D and 3D assets to showcase the creative vision through dynamic visual storytelling.
• Engage in storyboarding, creating a visual narrative for animations, including transitions, micro-animations, and compositing.
• Drive the creative process, exploring multiple ideas, evaluating, and iterating to refine the creative language and visualisation of key screens and interactions.
• Deliver Figma source files with detailed guidelines and animations, ensuring a cohesive and visually compelling user experience.

What You Will Bring:

• Extensive proficiency in Adobe After Effects for both 2D and 3D animations, with the ability to stitch together assets created in Figma and Blender.
• Strong skills in Figma for UI design, including the use of auto layout components.
• Experience in UI/UX/Interaction design, with a portfolio demonstrating creative work for product UI/HMI.
• Excellent creative thinking and ideation skills, comfortable working to a brief within tight deadlines.
• Desirable knowledge of Blender and previous automotive experience, although not essential.
