Driving Installer - Privatised part of London Borough Council

Calling for professional drivers in South London!

Are you helpful, friendly, and able to interact kindly with elderly/ vulnerable adults? Can you do manual lifting and install equipment in homes or residential properties?

We will complete an enhanced DBS check - Must have a Full, UK, Clean Driving License

16.25 p/h PAYE (Over 30K per annum) - umbrella options available for higher hourly rate but without holiday pay

36 hours p/w

Based in Croydon - Using a company van for resident visits

6 month role, with the potential to extend

About the role

• Loading vehicles with equipment from warehouse in a way to protect and optimise
• Assist carrying & setting up in client's home or living environment
• Clean up & removing waste after job completion
• Reporting any adverse client conditions
• Ensuring dignity, privacy, and right of all contacts at all times
• Respond positively to requests of support

About you

• Happy to have a DBS completed
• Hold a valid full driving license
• Approachable, supportive, understanding
• Physically able to do manual work and lifting
• Ability to use mobile data recording devices
• Empathetic to the needs of vulnerable people, including the disabled, elderly and their caring relatives
