Our Client has a requirement for a Senior Project Engineer, who will be required to work on a Contract basis Remote with travel to Devonport.

Role Purpose:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the Water Retaining Boundary team within the Major Infrastructure Projects directorate. The pivotal role will involve managing the delivery of critical civils design packages for vital national defence infrastucture projects.

Job Role Responsibilities:

Support the Package Manager in delivering multiple sub-packages and ensuring effective project execution.

Collaborate with the technical team to ensure all design deliverables meet stringent quality criteria and are successfully led through governance processes.

Manage the project’s schedule, commercial, cost, and risk management functions, ensuring all design packages are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

Assist in developing project scope, requirements, and solutions for specific work packages.

Translate supply chain reporting into actionable data to inform planning, monitoring, and control of work packages.

Monitor costs and budgets and ensure financial tracking aligns with project goals.

Oversee documentation and deliverable management to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

Manage the risk process, including identifying, assessing, and planning risks and opportunities.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

Assist with administering the NEC contract using CEMAR to ensure proper contract management throughout the project lifecycle.
