Systems Integration Manager (CONTRACT)
The Systems Integration Manager will lead an interdisciplinary technical team to drive the successful delivery of integrated solutions for clients, ensuring seamless implementation and system ramp-up. This role requires expertise in engineering, controls, software technology, robotics, and supply chain equipment, acting as a key liaison between project teams, clients, suppliers, and installers. The Systems Integration Manager will oversee the acceptance of systems, ensuring all components function cohesively to meet performance requirements.
Systems Integration Manager's Key Responsibilities
* Ensure alignment between internal and external teams on solution integration and requirements.
* Drive collaboration across project technical teams and third-party partners to ensure successful execution.
* Develop and execute testing plans for all equipment and software, validating solutions against project performance criteria.
* Oversee integration of controls and software systems, ensuring third-party components function as a unified system.
* Monitor acceptance testing of equipment supplied by external partners.
* Define and lead execution of full-system acceptance test procedures.
* Manage system ramp-up, defining scenarios and continuously monitoring performance alongside clients and internal teams.
Systems Integration Manager's Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience in industrial, mechanical, or civil engineering, business, industrial or construction management.
* Experience in one or more of the following areas:
* Distribution centre operations
* Integration management
* Supply chain consulting
* Program/project leadership or supply chain executive roles
Systems Integration Manager's Skills & Competencies
* Strong business acumen with advanced leadership and project management skills.
* Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple workstreams and remote teams.
* Strong problem-solving capabilities, with experience in mentoring and developing others.
* Experience in budgeting and financial management across multiple projects.
* Excellent time management skills, ensuring delivery of complex projects on time and within budget.
* Advanced presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio).
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Systems Integration Manager's Preferred Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business is desirable.
Systems Integration Manager's Benefits
* £75PH (contract - 6 to 12 month)
* Hybrid working - 80% time at customer site
