Job Title: Locum Independent Prescribing Pharmacists (numerous required)

Location: Remote (Work from Home)

Schedule: Mondays, 10am – 2pm (4 hours per day) each week, with potential additional Friday shifts (not mandatory)

Start Date: ASAP

Rate of Pay: £30 – £40 per hour (Ltd)

What You’ll Be Doing: Join our team as a Locum Independent Prescribing Pharmacist and play a key role in improving patient care within a GP Surgery/PCN. In this role, you will:

Perform comprehensive medication reviews and patient assessments

Prescribe appropriate medications and therapeutic interventions

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team

Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Web

Provide expert guidance on pharmaceutical care and treatment

Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

Independent Prescribing Qualification

A Digital Badge and access to EMIS Web on your PC/Laptop at home (non-negotiable)

Experience working in a GP Surgery/PCN environment (preferred but not mandatory)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration: This is a full remote role, offering regular Monday shifts from 10am – 2pm (4 hours). There may also be occasional Friday shifts, although these are not mandatory. The position starts ASAP and is ongoing.
