Job Overview:
We are looking for a Junior Power Platform Developer to join our team and assist in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities:
· Power Apps Development:
o Design and develop Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps to meet business needs.
o Implement intuitive, user-friendly interfaces following UI/UX best practices.
o Integrate Power Apps with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and third-party APIs.
o Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance and usability.
· Power Automate:
o Build and manage automated workflows to streamline business processes.
o Integrate Power Automate with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Outlook and external systems.
o Monitor and maintain solutions to ensure efficiency and reliability.
· Power Pages (Formerly Power Apps Portals):
o Assist in the design, development, and customization of Power Pages for external and internal users.
o Implement authentication and role-based access control for different user groups.
o Optimize portal performance and user experience.
o Design Power Pages interfaces with responsive layouts, custom themes, and branding.
o Customize UI using CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templates to enhance interactivity.
· Microsoft Dataverse - Data Management & Integration:
o Work extensively with Microsoft Dataverse to store and manage business data securely.
o Understand tables, columns, relationships, and business rules within Dataverse.
o Configure Dataverse security roles and permissions to ensure proper data access control.
o Use Dataverse Web API, OData, and connectors to integrate data with Power Apps and Power Automate.
o Assist in data modelling, transformation, and integration with external sources such as SQL, SharePoint, and third-party APIs.
o Maintain data integrity and optimize Dataverse performance and storage utilization.
· User Interface & User Experience (UI/UX) Design:
o Create clean, intuitive, and visually appealing user interfaces in Power Apps and Power Pages.
o Apply UI/UX best practices, including colour theory, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
o Ensure consistency in design across different screen sizes and devices.
o Gather user feedback and iterate on UI improvements for better usability.
· Communication within IT
o Regularly communicate project updates with IT manager.
o Promptly communicate any development or design issues with IT manager.
o Collaborate with IT team to design and develop solutions.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
· Experience developing Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
· Experience developing Power Automate flows.
· Experience developing Power Pages
· Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, including tables, relationships, security roles, and connectors.
· Understanding of data modelling principles and relational databases.
· Experience with UI/UX design principles for Power Apps and Power Pages.
· Basic understanding of JSON, REST APIs, and connectors.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
Desirable:
· Experience with JavaScript, CSS, or Liquid templates for Power Pages customization.
· Business process design experience
· Exposure to Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, etc.).
· Knowledge of security and governance best practices in Power Platform.
· Any relevant Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
