The opportunity
An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Time on Tools Monitor, to become responsible for working directly with participants both Business partners and direct staff to monitor time on tools in a safe, outdoor, operational environment.
The role
As the Time on Tools Monitor, you will provide immediate support to the Clients by measuring the amount of time Business Partners specific employees spend on and away from the workface, to provide accurate productivity data.
As the Time on Tools monitor, you will provide written and/or electronic reports to validate the observations made on site at their specific locations.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
In conjunction with Business Partner supervision accurately measures the time operatives spend at the workface
Reports gatherings of operatives outside of the agreed break times
Maintains reporting logs both written and electronic accurately and in a timely fashion
Attend department meetings as needed and other duties as assigned
Promptly and accurately reports any issues and concerns regarding participants to Site IR advisor or BP supervision
Physical Demands & Work Environment
In the course of performing this job, this position typically spends long periods of time standing and walking in an outside environment
It requires good observational skills
Operation of office equipment such as phone, copier, and computerYou will have the following qualifications and experience
Educated to GCSE standard English and Mathematics
Familiar with MS office Word and Excel
Experience of working on a COMAH site
Experience of working with sizeable contractor workgroups
Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate verbally and by email
Ability while under time pressure to accurately gather information
Projects a professional demeanour at all times and maintains regular attendance
Ability to recognise and report anomalies in the set patterns of work
