Cold Metal Repair Technician

Location: Thurleigh, Bedfordshire

Shift: Monday-Friday, day shift

Pay Rate: Up to £21 p/h PAYE

Contract: Long term, Ongoing work

We are looking for a Cold Metal Repair Technician to join our client s team in Thurleigh. This role provides the successful candidate with the chance to work for one of the UK's leading automotive companies with a nationwide presence.

This role involves repairing vehicle body panels using cold metal techniques, ensuring a high standard of finish without the need for traditional filler or paint methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out cold metal repairs on vehicle panels to restore vehicle to original shape and finish.
• Use specialist tools and techniques to repair damaged panels.
• Assess and report on repair requirements.
• Work with the paint and bodyshop teams to maintain workflow.
• Ensure all repairs are completed safely and within set timeframes.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in dent removal or cold metal repair.
• Skilled in using specialist metal shaping and repair tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of vehicle repair techniques.
• Must have your own tools.
