Rang Healthcare is seeking a local contract Medical Technologist for a local contract job in Welch, West Virginia.

• Position: Medical Technician • Location: Welch, WV 24801 • Duration: Temporary staffing as per the hospital's needs • Shifts: Standard 8-hour shifts (7.5 billable hours + 0.5 unpaid lunch break) • Pay range: $23 - $27/hr as per the experience. • Estimated hours: 2080 regular hours. Education • A bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a relevant field • A certificate to work as a medical technician • A thorough education in scientific subjects like biology, chemistry, and anatomy Experience • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a medical technician • Proven experience working with various medical equipment and tools • Skills Advanced knowledge of biology and chemistry, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Outstanding presentation and analytical abilities, and Comfortable in collaborating with healthcare professionals. Responsibilities • Perform calibration and testing of equipment • Conduct blood tests for transfusion purposes • Provide technical support to healthcare staff • Test blood in labs or bodily fluids from sweat to tissue samples • Interpret test results accurately and communicate them to other clinicians • Train and educate new staff members
