The Role

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site and assisting the Site Manager with all aspects of project delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

* Supporting the Site Manager in day-to-day site operations

* Ensuring all work is completed to NHBC standards and building regulations

* Overseeing health & safety compliance and conducting site inspections

* Coordinating and managing subcontractors and trades

* Assisting with quality control, snagging, and ensuring a high standard of finish

* Monitoring progress, keeping projects on schedule, and reporting updates

* Resolving site issues efficiently to maintain productivity

What We’re Looking For

* Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on NHBC-regulated sites

* Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and quality standards

* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (preferred)

* Excellent communication and leadership skills

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure

* Experience in residential construction projects
