Lead Infrastructure Engineer

9-Month Contract

2 days per week in EITHER London, Bristol OR Manchester

Looking for your next Infrastructure Engineer role? We have an exciting 9-month contract opportunity offering up to £650 per day (Inside IR35). This role requires 2 days per week on-site in either London or Manchester.

🔹 What You'll Need:

✔ Strong experience with Linux/Unix system administration and delivering new services in a corporate environment

✔ Proficiency in multiple scripting and programming languages (Shell scripting, JavaScript, Node.js, Perl, Python)

✔ Hands-on experience managing AWS cloud-based systems (EKS, ELK, Cognito, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, Lambda & more)

✔ Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, AWS DevOps tools)

✔ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise with Terraform

✔ Strong knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes for containerization and deployment

✔ Solid understanding of cloud security principles (least privilege access, encryption, isolated networks)

✔ Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle

✔ Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, Load Balancing, K8s Network Policies)

✔ Protective monitoring experience to ensure system robustness and availability

✔ Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for knowledge-sharing
