ITSM Systems Specialist-Majority of work on site in Jersey-10 Months + (Outside IR35)

My client are are committed to driving innovation and optimising IT operations to meet the evolving needs of our business. We are seeking an experienced and passionate ITSM Systems Specialist to join their dynamic team. As a key member of our IT department, you'll play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our IT service management processes.

Position Overview: As an ITSM Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and optimisation of our IT Service Management tools and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless delivery of IT services and contribute to driving continuous improvement initiatives within our ITSM framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and optimise ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Cherwell, etc.) to ensure they meet business and operational needs.
• Configure and maintain ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
• Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving system issues related to ITSM.
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve service delivery and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Assist in training and mentoring end-users on ITSM tools and processes.
• Continuously evaluate system performance and suggest improvements or upgrades.
• Ensure all service management processes are properly documented and up-to-date.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with ITSM tools and systems (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, etc.).
• Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
• Experience in configuring and optimising ITSM workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting ability.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• ITIL certification or related qualifications is a plus.
