About this Position:

We are seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to join our Integrated Project Team (IPT), working on the development of next-generation Electronic Warfare and Radar systems. This role requires strong systems engineering expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team to develop requirements, models, and system architectures.
• Contribute to the architectural vision and support long-term capability roadmaps.
• Apply System-of-Systems and product development approaches to ensure project alignment.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to capture system needs and constraints.
• Conduct trade space analysis to inform key high-level design decisions.
• Define functional and behavioural system aspects and derive requirements at all levels.
• Work with the Project Manager to estimate project costs and explore alternative solutions.
• Provide mentorship and coaching in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Architecture.
• Support design reviews and provide technical consultation across projects.

Experience Required:

• Strong experience in requirements management, definition, and apportionment.
• Proficiency in DOORS at a specialist level.
• Familiarity with EW, RF systems, and radar system design.
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools, Cameo Systems Modeller, or MATLAB.
• Experience working across engineering disciplines and understanding system specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of systems engineering processes, lifecycles, and verification methods.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in multidisciplinary teams.
• Candidates must be eligible for full security clearance.
