Job Description

Our client, a prominent player in the construction industry, is seeking a Telehandler Operative to join their team on the Saltash Tunnel Refurbishment project. This is a contract role with night shifts, providing an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant infrastructure project.

• Operating telehandlers to move and place materials as required
• Ensuring the safe and efficient execution of tasks in a night-time working environment
• Conducting pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and supplies
• Working collaboratively with the construction team to ensure project deadlines are met
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area

• CPCS certification
• Experience as a Telehandler Operative in the construction sector
• Ability to work night shifts, Monday to Friday, from 20:00 to 05:00
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining telehandler equipment
• Strong understanding of health and safety protocols
• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Start date: 3rd March 2025
• End date: June 2025, with possible extension
• 4+ month contract
• Working hours: 20:00 - 05:00, Monday to Friday
