This Outstanding school in Brentwood, are looking to appoint a dedicated and committed Humanities Teacher to work in a friendly and supportive Humanities department on a permanent basis. Working in this Secondary School as part of an established team, the desired Humanities Teacher will be planning and delivering lessons up to A-Level. This is an excellent opportunity for a Humanities Teacher with either a History or Geography specialism who is seeking a school with excellent behaviour and supportive SLT. The school promotes a positive environment where students and Humanities teachers can thrive academically, personally and spiritually. This school offers free on-site parking and also has transport links via regular bus routes and Elizabeth Line.

Requirements

The desired Humanities Teacher will;

• Be able to create a safe and positive learning environment.
• Be responsible for assessing students against learning outcomes and ensuring all groups of students make progress.
• Be able to ensure that all groups of students at all key stages are appropriately challenged and supported to achieve their very best.
• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire students to explore their creativity and improve their critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Have a good knowledge of the UK Curriculum.
• PGCE in History or Geography with QTS and right to work in the UK.
• Suitable for ECTs!
