Job Description

Empowering Learning are looking to hear from 1:1 Teaching Assistant's with experience of supporting young children with hearing impairments and have Level 2 BSL and can confidently use BSL.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 support.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for the student
Promoting inclusion and a positive learning environment.
Working closely with teachers and other school staff to meet the individual needs of the child.
Encourage the student to engage and interact with others.

Requirements:

Relevant experience working as a 1:1 hearing impairment support

Confidently use BSL (British Sign Language) at Level 2

Experience of EHCP plans

Excellent Literacy, Numeracy and Communication Skills
