PMO Lead
Location: Hybrid (Worthing - 2 days per week)
£550.00 p/d (Outside IR35)
Are you a critical thinker with proven experience setting up a PMO? Do you thrive in a hands-on role where you can shape and improve programme delivery?
On behalf of a well known company, we're looking for a PMO Lead to support the implementation of a new work management system. You'll play a key role in establishing programme controls, tracking milestones, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement across delivery workstreams. This isn't just an oversight role-you'll be in the thick of it, ensuring that standards are met, data is accurate, and key stakeholders are aligned.
Responsibilities:
✅ Set up and maintain programme governance, risks, issues, and dependencies
✅ Ensure accurate reporting and act as the go-to for project data
✅ Work closely with Programme Managers, Change Managers, IT PMO, and Finance
✅ Lead continuous improvement efforts, capturing lessons learned
✅ Facilitate workstream meetings and approvals
Requirements:
🔹 Hands-on experience in establishing and running a PMO.
🔹 Strong programme and project management skills (Prince2, MSP, Agile preferred).
🔹 Ability to analyse programme performance and recommend improvements.
🔹 A proactive, adaptable approach - willing to roll up your sleeves
