Belmont Recruitment are currently looking to speak with Pharmacy Technicians for block booking/contract positions working within a Liverpool based Prison setting.

Roles available at the moment within a NHS Prison setting in Liverpool, for Band 5 Pharmacy Technicians.

These roles do not require any previous experience of working within a Prison.

The posts in question are available full time, working long day shifts, and can offer up to 5 long day shifts

The requirement for this role is a block booking - unfortunately adhoc shift work is not available, we are looking for commitment of 3 shifts a week but can offer up to 5.

BAND 5 - Pharmacy Technicians responsibilities;

• Accurately dispense medicines and highly complex dose regimes including compliance aids
• Supervise and train new starters, apprentices, assistants, qualified or student technicians
• Provision of a quality service, demonstrating reliability in routine dispensing of medication
• Participate in rota for Accuracy Checkers, checking items that have been dispensed by pharmacy staff for issue to individual patients

These posts are band 5 and paying up to 24.00 per hour, depending on shifts pattern.
