We are looking for a Skilled Design Engineer for a position in Cambridge on a short-term basis.

The role will involve converting drawings and sketches into 3D models, and then producing a full drawing pack.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Design Engineer
Proficiency in SolidWorks
Strong understanding of mechanical-engineering principles
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

We are a Design Engineering Consultancy, who have operated for 35 years in Cambridgeshire. We offer competitive rates, and flexible working arrangements.

This role is remote and you will need your own hardware and software. Applicants will only be accepted if they are currently residing in the UK, and have full right to work.
