Maths Teacher

Location: Derby

Start date: Immediate

Salary: £150-£200 per day (dependant on experience)

Here at TeacherActive we are proud to be working with a number of brilliant secondary schools in and around central Derby, who are currently recruiting for Maths teachers for full time and part time positions, starting as soon as possible.

The school is looking for someone who has at least 6 months of previous experience teaching Maths up to KS5 level, and is confident in their ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons.

Successful applicants will have:

- QTS specialising in Maths (early career teachers are also encouraged to apply)

- A track record of helping students to achieve outstanding GCSE results

- An excellent knowledge of the curriculum up to KS5 level

- The ability to communicate well with both teachers and students
