Learning Support Assistant - Primary School Support in Woodhall Spa

Location: Woodhall Spa and surrounding areas
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time or Part-time - Flexible for the right candidate
Salary: 78 - 94 per day

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment for children. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support, ensuring pupils stay engaged and confident in their learning.
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery, adapting activities to suit different learning needs.
• Supporting children with additional needs, offering tailored encouragement and guidance.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping maintain an inclusive classroom environment.
• Helping with classroom preparation, organisation, and general teaching support.

• Experience working with children, ideally in a school or childcare setting.
• A passion for supporting young learners and helping them grow.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students and staff.
• A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to learning support.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
