Pay: 80- 100 per day, based on experience and qualifications
Contract: Full-time and Part-time available

Do you have the skills and dedication to help young learners reach their full potential? We are seeking a SEND Learning Assistant to join our welcoming school community in Peterborough.

As a SEND Learning Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored assistance for students with learning needs. Your role will involve working with students both one-on-one and in small groups, contributing to a positive and engaging classroom environment.

• Assist students with SEND in their learning and development.
• Help deliver lessons, adapting materials and activities to meet students' needs.
• Work one-on-one and in small groups to provide focused attention.
• Help implement Education Plans and Behaviour Plans.
• Assist students with social and communication skills, building confidence.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and needs.
• Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.

• Receive support from a consultant who will assist in finding the right job and guide you through the process.
• Access ongoing training (FREE CPD courses) to enhance your teaching skills and progress in your career.
• Choose from daily and long-term vacancies in Peterborough to suit your schedule.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A formal qualification in Teaching & Learning (or an equivalent qualification).
• Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
• GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
• A patient, adaptable approach when working with students with SEND.
• The ability to work as part of a team and take initiative.
• A desire to continue learning and growing professionally.
