Installation Package Manager Array Cables required for a major offshore wind developer based in Germany
Responsibilities
Managing works in line with company values, internal compliance policies, external regulations, the Project Management Framework (PMF), and Delegation of Authority (DOA), while prioritising the interests of the end client (Operations).
Ensuring all works adhere to the company's HSE policies, 8 Life-Saving Rules, and 'we care' essential behaviour principles.
Collaborating closely with the Procurement department to manage the procurement process, from ITT development to contract signing, ensuring the best interests of the project and Client Offshore are upheld.
Managing a matrixed team of experts who provide specialist input for delivering the package of works.
Overseeing the engineering process within the package, ensuring buildability, operational considerations, interfaces, and safety by design are fully addressed.
Creating a collaborative, transparent, and supportive work culture, focusing on knowledge sharing and lessons learned, both within the project and across the client.
Facilitate an environment to enable clear communication lines with internal and external parties.
Managing resources and budget within the package, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, while identifying, mitigating, and addressing risks and opportunities as needed.
Management of all Contractor's deliveries, RAMS, Quality and HSE performance.
Providing interface support with all other packages within the Project Team, including the main interfaces with cable supplier.
Review of interfacing packages documentation during development and construction phases.Requirements
Hold a degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering, Marine Logistics, Renewable Energy or another closely related engineering or science area.
Have significant demonstratable experience in leading the successful and safe execution of offshore wind farm projects.
Have demonstratable experience of the tendering, negotiation and implementation of contracts used in offshore in offshore construction and vessel chartering.
A proven track record of successful project management and project execution in the offshore wind sector.
A team leader and team player comfortable working closely with your colleagues as part of an exciting and determined multinational global team.
A motivated, passionate, keen problem solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willing, and able, to travel regularly within Europe and globally on an ad hoc basis as required to support our projects.
Willing, and able, to work offshore and at heights.
Fluent in both spoken and written English
