Full-Time Key Stage 1 Teacher (Fixed Term) - Sheffield

Location: Sheffield

Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term (May 2025 - Easter 2026)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Qualification Required: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Year Groups: Mixed Year 1 and Year 2 Class

A welcoming Junior school in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time, fixed-term role from May 2025 to Easter 2026, working with a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, ensuring progress for all pupils.

About the Role:

Teaching a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class, ensuring an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Planning and assessing in line with the national curriculum.

Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.

Attending staff meetings and contributing to the wider school community.

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2).

Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of mixed-age learners.

Strong classroom management and the ability to create a nurturing learning environment.
