Domestic Abuse Helpline & Intake Practitioner (Temporary ending September)

Salary: 17.12 per hour PAYE

Location: Wakefield (full-time) - Office based but willing to travel in local area if requested.

Caritas Futures is proud to support a renowned charity dedicated to combating domestic violence. This role involves triaging referrals, assessing risk and needs of individuals, and working with partners to ensure the immediate safety of those contacting or being referred to our service. The post holder will be part of a multi-agency team, providing a high-quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse. You will deliver an immediate, coordinated response to individuals at high, medium, and standard risk, prioritizing those at the highest risk of serious harm.

Essential Requirements:

• Substantial experience working in the field of domestic abuse.
• Experience in providing crisis intervention related to domestic abuse.
• Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months.
