Delivery Support Officer

£300.00 Daily Rate PAYE

£407.07p Daily Rate UMBRELLA

Full Time

6 Month Contract Initially

London / Hybrid 1-2 days a week onsite

The Delivery Support Officer assists with the support and enablement of Strategic Programme and Change Management teams. The postholder will manage a range of change and programme related plans and assist with the delivery of a major strategic programme, as part of a multi-disciplinary, highly skilled team.

Qualifications, experience and knowledge

• Experience in supporting delivery of projects or products within a framework
• Experience balancing multiple priorities and prioritising workload
• Experience producing regular reports on progress
• Experience in supporting the facilitation and organisation of multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience of Change Management principles, approaches and methodologies
• Experience working within a Change Management team
• Industry recognised qualification in agile delivery or project management (CSM, SAFe, PRINCE2, APMP)
• An understanding of the general principles of information technology
• Have an awareness of current technology trends and emerging developments impacting Higher Education (essential)
• Knowledge of online collaborative tools & Kanban software (eg. MS Teams, Miro, Jira, Trello)

Skills and abilities

• Able to coordinate and manage a range of simultaneous tasks
• Meticulous degree of accuracy & attention to detail
• Computer literate with strong skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications and the Windows operating system.
• High degree of literacy and numeracy and ability to draft correspondence and reports and clearly and succinctly.
• Excellent planning, organisation, & problem solving
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop effective working relationships and ability to work independently and as a proactive team member
• Ability to work independently and use own initiative where appropriate; and to know when to refer decisions upwards
• Discretion when dealing with confidential or sensitive matters
