Our Client is seeking a Roofers Mate on an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of an extension.

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: 15.00 Per Hour PAYE

Location: W8 6PW

Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week, 07:30 - 16:00

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Roofer's Mate to assist roofers in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. No prior experience is necessary, but a keen interest in roofing and construction is beneficial.

• Assist roofers with lifting, carrying, and positioning roofing materials.
• Prepare work areas by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment.
• Remove old or damaged roofing materials.
• Mix and apply adhesives, sealants, and other materials as directed.
• Cut and shape roofing materials to fit specific areas.
• Keep the worksite clean and organized, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
• Follow health and safety regulations, using PPE and safety harnesses when required.
• Support the team with general laboring duties as needed.

• Previous experience in construction or roofing (preferred but not essential).
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and take instructions.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Awareness of health and safety procedures.
• A valid CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
• A driving license (desirable but not required).
