The Role – Youth Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Youth Support Worker to join a high-achieving Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Hackney. The ideal Youth Support Worker will have a calm, empathetic approach and a passion for supporting young people. In this Youth Support Worker role, you will provide 1:1 intervention and small group support, helping students overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

This thriving PRU in the heart of Hackney caters to 120 students aged 5-16 who have been excluded from mainstream education due to challenging behaviour. Recently rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the school offers a supportive and structured environment for both staff and students.
