Groundworks Project Manager required for MOD project in Lutterworth. Term of contract 12 months minimum. Groundworks Project Manager will have extensive experience of commercial groundworks operations, preferably, MOD facilities construction. This particular project is approx £10 million in value, with all associated externals, drainage, bolts bases, utilities, slab and foundations. Job requirements to consider:
• Overseeing and delivering a ground works package, this package includes all of the electrical, mechanical and drainage systems, with all of the attenuation tanks and detention basins.
• Overseeing and delivering sub and super structures of each building. Including all of the sub-stations and water compound.
• Overseeing and delivering soft and hard landscapes. Including all of the retaining walls and car parks.
• Looking ahead to determine types of activities and works that will be required to progress, so that sequencing works adequately.
Groundworks Project Manager key responsibilities:
• Lead and manage groundworks project from inception to completion
• Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
• Monitor and control project costs, resources, and risks
Groundworks Project Manager requirements:
• Proven experience in commercial groundworks and civils project management
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
