The Opportunity

An opportunity has become available for a Day Operator role to join a leading specialist in the Chemical sector on a temporary basis. The role will be to slot in to the existing team and supporting with ensuring daily production targets are hit to a safe and qualitive standard.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

Tanker Off-loading/Loading.

Drumming operations.

Kitting and assembly of raw and packaging materials.

Raw material and intermediate movements (‘Drop Zone’).

In-process sample analysis.

General FLT working.

Inventory count – drums & IBC’s.

General Site HSKP & related safety, environmental audits.

Other reasonable tasks at the request of management and  within level of competence.You will have the following qualifications & experience

Previously worked in the Chemical industry or similar highly regulated environment

Solid commitment to hitting production targets

Current FLT

Proven experience following strict safety protocols

Good communication skills

High attention to detailIt’s great if you also have the following

Experience working on a Top Tier COMAH siteThe setting for the role

Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a chemical site. These can include, chemical burns, trips and falls, overexertion,cuts and scrapes, chemical exposure, inhalation of chemicals and confined spaces. A full site induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
