About the Role
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment where children feel encouraged to explore, question, and grow. Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
Fostering a nurturing classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.
Encouraging curiosity and a love of learning through interactive and hands-on experiences.
Assessing and tracking pupil progress, ensuring all children receive the support and challenge they need to succeed.
Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and carers to create a strong partnership in learning.
Using innovative teaching strategies to support pupils with diverse learning needs and abilities.
About You
We are looking for a dedicated and inspirational teacher who is passionate about making a difference in children's lives. The ideal teacher will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience teaching in KS1 (although ECTs are encouraged to apply).
Be an enthusiastic and creative educator who brings learning to life.
Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
Be a team player, committed to working collaboratively and sharing best practices.
Be committed to continuous professional development and open to new ideas.
