Role Description: Application Architect

Duration: 12 months

Rate: £600.00 - £625.00

Location: 1-2 days onsite Birmingham or London

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality application solutions that meet our business needs. You will analyse existing reference architecture, applications and systems and change to new improved, streamlined landscape across the enterprise. You will Work closely with the assigned Business (Process) Architect who will be identifying the business processes that link to the various applications. Designs and requirements that will be captured in the Orbus architecture tool (experience of Orbus not required any industry standard tooling is fine).

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop application architecture strategies that align with business objectives.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practises.

- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product is delivered.

- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to developers to improve application performance and reliability.

- Identify and address any potential risks or challenges in the application architecture.

- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform architectural decisions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as an Application Architect or similar role in software development.

- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and methodologies.

- Experience with various programming languages and frameworks.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
