Wise Employment are currently looking for Hospital Ward Hosts for an immediate start in Torbay for temporary to permanent opportunities, offering weekly pay for this period and immediate starts available.

As a HOSPITAL WARD HOST you will provide a ward based catering service to Patients. You will be required to provide the Patient Meal Service and beverage services at ward level. You will be required to provide a polite, courteous and helpful service to patients and staff and to comply with all HACCP food safety requirements and legislation.

As a Hospital Ward Host, will work as part of the ward based team, ensuring a high quality food service and presentation of meals including Breakfast, Lunch and Supper services. You will be responsible for the co-ordination of all patient food and beverage services in accordance with the NPSA Nutritional Guidelines.

• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance including laundering own uniform.
• Helping and supporting your colleagues so that you work well together to achieve common goals and objectives.

The hourly rates of pay will vary from week days to weekends and you will be required to work 5 days out of 7, working 30 hours a week on shifts between 7am to 7pm on a rota basis. Rota will be provided in advance. £11.44 per hour for weekdays, £16.13 for Saturdays and £20.94 for Sundays. This role will also require you to have an in date basic DBS on the update service or be willing to get one.
