Job description-Pipe Fitter Welder

Basic hourly rate between 25 and 27 CIS or LTD . Subject to interview and weld test.

Pipe Fitter welder required for a very good client.

A pipe weld test in 6g position will be expected before any job offer is made.

My client deals with fabrication and installation and vessel fabrication and installation for food and beverage, chemical, power, agriculture, and other sectors.

As a pipe fitter welder-

Must be able to work on your own and as part of a team.

As a pipe welder, all welding must be to a high standard.

Experience Tig welding carbon & stainless pipe essential.

thin wall experience essential.

As a pipe fitter welder-

You must be able to fit pipe to a high standard.

Work from engineers drawings.

Mark out, cut and fit accurately.

Be comfortable working on your own or as part of a team.

Some work they do-

General storage vessels BS EN

Pressure vessels PD5500 Cat 2&3

Stainless and carbon steel pipework

Coded welding to BSEN and ASME 1X

No digs or travel so local labour or within a reasonable commute.

Salary for a pipe fitter welder is typically-

up to 27ph LTD or CIS

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: 25.00- 27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 41 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Skelmersdale, Lancashire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Pipefitting: 4 years (preferred)
• TIG welding: 4 years (preferred)
