Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Chatham

Fixed Term Contract

Full time hours

March 2025

Academics Rochester are recruiting for a Primary School in Chatham, who are in need of experienced and motivational HLTA's, for a long term contracts to start March 2025.

The main support will be in EYFS and KS1.

As a HLTA, responsibilities will include

• Covering PPA time for teachers
• Small group work with pupils who require additional support with English and Maths
• Delivering planned lessons to the class

The ideal HLTA must have / be:

• Experience working as a HLTA
• Expert behaviour management and have a range of techniques
• Experience working with learners with a range of Educational Needs
• These young people need consistency and so you need to be able to commit to working for a long period of time
• Experience across all Primary ages.
• HLTA qualification desirable
