Finance Transformation Director (Contract)

📍 Location: Hybrid (London-based with remote flexibility)

📆 Contract Length: 6 months (with potential extension)

💰 Day Rate: £800 - £1,000 (DOE)

Are you a seasoned finance leader with a proven track record of delivering large-scale transformation? We're looking for a Finance Transformation Director to spearhead a strategic finance overhaul, driving efficiency, digital innovation, and best-in-class financial operations.

The Role

As Finance Transformation Director, you will take ownership of a high-profile transformation programme, ensuring the finance function is optimised for scalability and long-term growth. Key responsibilities include:

✅ Developing and executing the finance transformation strategy in line with business objectives

✅ Redesigning finance processes, controls, and reporting frameworks for greater efficiency and accuracy

✅ Leading the implementation of new finance systems and automation technologies

✅ Enhancing financial planning, forecasting, and analytics capabilities

✅ Driving cost optimisation, operational efficiency, and improved financial governance

✅ Partnering with CFO, senior leadership, and key stakeholders to embed sustainable change

What We're Looking For

✔ Extensive experience as a Finance Transformation Director or senior finance leader in a complex, multi-entity organisation

✔ A proven track record in delivering end-to-end finance transformation programmes

✔ Strong expertise in finance operating model redesign, digital finance solutions, and automation

✔ In-depth knowledge of ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.)

✔ Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with experience influencing at board level

✔ Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred
