Job Description

My client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Director for Adult Social Care Operations on a Contract basis.

Reporting directly to the Director of Adult Social Services, you will be a core member of the Strategic Leadership Team for Health and Adult Social Care

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

Your key responsibilities include strategic planning, engagement, and operational delivery of key services, with accountability for the financial management and control of the adult social care budget.

Responsible for performance management, where required, in a clear, timely, and professional way.

Accountable for the leadership and management of services, safeguarding, and providing assurance that risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated across the allocated group of services

You will have the following experiences:

A Social Work Qualification / SWE registration is essential.

Substantial experience of successfully delivering Adult Social Care services and leading change for adults with complex needs and those experiencing multiple disadvantages in a diverse, urban environment.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.

Experience of managing significant budgets, identifying and delivering efficiency savingsWhat's on offer:

Salary: £650-£700 per day, inside IR35*negotiable based on experience
