Nursery Assistant - Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified

Location: Tower Hamlets

Salary: £13.85-15.50 per hour depending on experience

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

Start Date: ASAP

A welcoming and well-established nursery in Tower Hamlets is looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified early years professional to support children's development in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Nursery Assistant:

Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities following the EYFS framework

Provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for young learners

Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development

Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure each child's needs are met

Maintain accurate observations and records of children's progress

Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety policies are followedRequirements for a Nursery Assistant:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent)

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting

A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A caring, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to childcare
