M&E Site Manager – Fire Alarm & Lighting Upgrades (Student Accommodation)

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Employer: Red Rock Consultants, in partnership with an established M&E business

Red Rock Consultants are working with a well-established M&E business to find an experienced M&E Site Manager for a student accommodation project in Newcastle upon Tyne. This role will focus on fire alarm and lighting upgrades within the student accommodation sector.

Key Responsibilities:

* Overseeing M&E installations, specifically fire alarms and lighting upgrades.

* Managing the project on-site, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

* Collaborating with electrical and mechanical teams, with a focus on electrical work and an understanding of mechanical systems (including sprinkler systems and sanitary ware installations).

Ideal Candidate:

* Electrically biased, with a good understanding of mechanical aspects.

* Previous experience in student accommodation projects is preferred.

* Must hold an SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and First Aid certification.
