Senior Transport Planning Officer

£17.79 per hour - PAYE

£22.09 per hour - UMBRELLA

Part Time – 3 days per week (21 hours)

6 Month Contract Initially

Bristol / Hybrid - At least 1 day a week in the office

Our Client is looking for a Senior Transport Planning Officer to work at a senior technical/professional level in the Transport Development Management team to provide high level professional expertise.

Key job outcomes/accountabilities

* Provide technical advice and experience to assist in the teams' Development Control work programme.

* To work with officers in planning, highways, structures, regeneration, housing and others (as appropriate) in order to progress the effective management of Planning Application and their impact on the public highway.

* Be responsible for own safety and not endanger that of colleagues/visitors to the workplace.

Additional information

* Postholders must be willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the city’s highway network.

* Postholders may be required to work outside of normal office hours.

The role will be task driven ie. Planning app transport assessment some may require a site visit.
