OVERVIEW

We are recruiting for experienced Head Chef to work as a Lead chef in the countries National Stadium This role involves working 2 prep days prior to each event day. With room for more prep days for the right candidate.

Must be available for all key fixtures & prep days. Paid Trail shift before first prep day on 13th March.

Must have a minimum 4 years experience as a Head Chef.

You will Run one of the more prestigious restaurants in the venue. A 400 capacity restaurant.

Will have a team of 8 behind you.

Buffet for 200 & Banqueting for 200

Banqueting is 3 courses with 2 options

You must be a skilled manager, who keeps calm when things don't go well. Be a tutor not a dictator. Passionate about working in the countries National Stadium, even if you don't like football.

Cleanliness & Professionalism are key.

When Running your kitchen, there is no job that does not belong to you.

Due diligence, food safety, productivity, Wastage, temperatures, staff welfare.

The most important this is a smooth running successful service, the client who run the restaurant are prestigious and expect a certain standard.

Pay

£19.64 + holiday pay = £22ph all in

(Other clients and job roles, pay does vary.)

Requirements for the role

• Valid Food Safety Level 3 certificate
• You will preferably have an NVQ Level 1,2,3 Professional Cookery (or equivalent) OR relevant experience in the role.
• Team Player
• An eagerness to work hard & enthusiasm for your role
• Eligible to work in the UK

Responsibilities and Duties

Cook to specification and opportunity for menu creation.

Maintaining kitchen cleanliness to the highest standard

Product Delivery, Standards and Innovation

Liaising with Front of House Staff and Management.

Stock Control, Waste Management and Finance

Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Maintenance

Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety at Work, COSHH and other legislation at all times.
