Urban Design Officer
Got a knack for crafting policy and site allocations? We’re looking for an Urban Design Officer to bring their expertise to a key project.
💰 £40 p/hr + DOE | 4-month contract (initial) | Outside IR35 (May be deemed outside IR35)
🌍 Remote working
⏳ Start ASAP (Flexible)
The Role
• Assist with writing site allocation policies and urban design guidance.
• Develop clear, well-structured planning text to support local plans.
• Work closely with planners, architects, and stakeholders to shape great places.
• Ensure policies promote high-quality, sustainable design.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Experience in urban design & planning policy (local authority or consultancy background ideal).
✔ Strong writing skills
✔ Knowledge of site allocations and national/local planning frameworks.
✔ Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
