Religious Education Teacher - Outstanding School in Ealing
An outstanding secondary school in Ealing is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join their exceptional team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a school known for its academic excellence and nurturing, inclusive environment.
The position is available on a long-term contract, with the possibility of extension. The school is looking for a full-time Religious Education teacher, but they are open to part-time applicants as well. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm, and the salary will be competitive, in line with inner London MPS/UPS.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons, guiding students through the study of world religions, ethics, and philosophy, ensuring they understand the relevance and real-world applications of these concepts.
Foster students' critical thinking, empathy, and understanding of different beliefs and cultures through engaging discussions and diverse learning opportunities.
Encourage students to explore moral and ethical issues, promoting reflection and open-mindedness while fostering respect and understanding.
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that motivates students to reach their full potential both academically and personally.

Qualifications and Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A relevant degree in Religious Education or related field
