Job Title: Insulation Supervisor – Black Hat

Location: Isle of Grain

Job Type: Contract – 4-5 weeks

Rate: £35.00 per hour Monday to Friday - £40.00 per hour weekends

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Black Hat Insulation Supervisor to oversee insulation activities on a new-build LNG tank project. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising insulation teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering work to the highest quality within project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise insulation work on the LNG tank, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety regulations.

* Lead and manage insulation teams, providing clear direction and support.

* Ensure all insulation activities comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.

* Toolbox talks to maintain a safe working environment.

* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trade supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.

* Inspect insulation materials and installation quality to ensure compliance with industry standards.

* Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and workforce performance.

* Report and resolve any issues, delays, or non-compliance matters on site.

* Provide training and mentorship to insulation personnel as required.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Insulation Supervisor in the oil & gas or LNG industry.

* Previous experience working on LNG tank insulation projects is highly desirable.

* Black Hat Supervisor certification or equivalent site leadership experience - SSSTS

* Strong knowledge of insulation materials, techniques, and safety regulations.

* Valid CSCS / CCNSG / SSSTS or SMSTS certification.

* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively.

* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Willingness to work in a demanding site environment with strict safety protocols
