Plant Quality Engineer, Contract Quality Engineer, Quality Engineer, Customer Quality Engineer

We are currently working with a Warwickshire based tier 1 automotive supplier with the recruitment of a Contract Quality Engineer.

Initially based on a 3 month contract and outside IR35, the Contract Quality Engineer will be tasked with working closely with current and New Product Engineering teams applying logical and methodical approach to problem solving.

With proven experience of working within a similar role in an automotive supplier arena, be that tier 1 or tier 2 supply chain, the Quality Engineer:

* Will support the planning and implementation all customer quality systems

* Be an active participant in all problem solving activities, utilising correct quality tools and techniques.

* Will support all elements of MSA studies and capability studies to ensure products meet all customer specific requirements

* Validate all documentation related to PPAP, PFMEA, SPC etc..

* Work closely with manufacturing in terms of (email address removed), Line Side Reviews, First Off/Last Off Quality in support of all launch activities.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive problem solving capabilities within the automotive manufacturing arena, to include SPC, 8D process, Ishikawa, FMEA etc.
