Health and Safety Project Manager (Food / Manufacturing)

£46,000 - £50,000 + 9 Month FTC + Company Benefits + Free Parking

Are you a Health and Safety advisor with experience in the food manufacturing industry looking for an exciting new opportunity to work for an industry leading company where you can continue to develop your career?

You will be managing the comprehensive planning and execution of projects, conducting regular site inspections, audits and safety reviews and developing, implementing and monitoring safe systems of work and risk assessments.

This company have been established for almost two decades and have subsequently evolved into a multi-disciplinary safety consultancy with many of the UKs biggest residential housebuilders and manufacturers as their clients.

This role would suit a health and safety project manager looking for a short term role that is very rewarding and where you gain valuable experience that you can take forward for the rest of your career.

The Role:

Manage the comprehensive planning and execution of the project

Develop, implement, and monitor safe systems of work, risk assessments

Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety reviews to proactively identify and mitigate hazards

Schedule and coordinate the daily activities on site, ensuring that all tasks are executed safely and to the required specifications

Administer the arrangements within the Construction Phase Plan and promote best practice in operational and safety proceduresThe Person:

Experience in health & safety project management within a food manufacturing or process engineering environment

NEBOSH General Certificate
