Job Description

Our manufacturing client in Rochdale is looking to recruit a Maintenance Handyperson to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

Hours of work Monday to Wednesday 8am 4.30pm, Thursday 8am 5pm and Friday 7am 3pm.

Rate of pay - £13.50- £14.50 ph.

Maintenance Handyperson Duties

• Perform mechanical repairs as required.
• Maintenance of doors, lights, and some wiring.
• Carry out general maintenance and repair work across the site ( Including machinery ).
• Assembling fixing kits for the products the company provides.
• Removing & refitting of company vehicle doors.
• Any other duties as required by the works manager.

Maintenance Handyperson Role Requirements -

• At least 5 years experience within a maintenance / handyperson background.
• Maintenance mechanic experience is preferable.
• Experience as a joiner / electrician is preferable but not essential.
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
