Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Operative (Police Sites)
Location: Brighton, Haywards Heath & Lewes (Travel Between Sites Required)
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to work across police station sites in Brighton, Haywards Heath, and Lewes. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate. The role involves maintaining outdoor spaces to a high standard while ensuring security and confidentiality due to the nature of the sites.

• Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and pruning
• Weed control, planting, and general horticultural duties
• Litter picking, leaf clearance, and pathway maintenance
• Basic landscaping and grounds repair work
• Safe use and upkeep of grounds maintenance tools and machinery
• Adhering to strict security and health & safety procedures on police sites

• Full UK driving licence (Essential)
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or a similar role (Preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be able to pass a police vetting check (Essential)
• Good attention to detail and a professional attitude due to the sensitive nature of the work environment
