Job Description

Prospero Teaching would like to recruit a dynamic and confident teacher for KS2 in a good primary school in Bolton. This is a class teacher role based in Year 5 and is to start in April.

An ECT or an experienced primary teacher with excellent curriculum knowledge is required for this role. You will need effective behaviour management skills and to be confident with the planning and assessment for Year 5. Ideally you will have worked as a primary teacher in upper Key Stage 2 before, or completed placement in Y4, Y5 or Y6.

The school has a forward-thinking attitude and a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff team are upbeat and really work hard to give the children a wonderful experience of school and learning. The Year 5 class teacher role will be working within a team of 4 teachers across the upper Key Stage 2 year groups.

The Year 5 class teacher is required from April until the end of summer term in July 2025.

Essential requirements for this Year 5 primary teacher role:

• Enhanced DBS
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Professional references covering the last two full years
• Experience working in a UK Primary School
